Selling angle
A selling angle is the single reason an ad gives to buy: the offer, the main benefit, an ingredient, the way it is used, social proof, a problem it solves. Each ad should stand on one angle, so a test shows which reason sells.
The same product can be sold on many angles; testing them is how a brand learns its message. Angles must stay true: an offer only if there is one, proof only from real customers.
On eroq
A static batch spreads its ads over angles (Offer, Benefit, Ingredient or material, How it is used, Lifestyle moment, Social proof, Problem → solution, Gift, Comparison, Launch), one per ad.
Questions
How many angles should I test?
Start with two or three clearly different ones per product, a couple of ads each, and keep the rest of the ads as similar as possible so the angle is what you compare.
What is the difference between an angle and a hook?
The angle is the reason to buy; the hook is how the ad opens to make someone stop. A good hook says the angle in the first second.
Can AI choose the angles?
It can propose them from what your brand states. On eroq, Clap spreads a batch over angles that fit each product and never invents an offer or a review.
