What Motion One is for

Most AI video engines are moderated by their provider: a mature scene fails upstream before your prompt reaches the model. Motion One runs on an uncensored Wan deployment, so adult fiction between adult characters renders in frame instead of erroring. It is also the engine of choice for character animation — pass a reference photo or a saved Character and the clip animates that face.

It renders 5 or 10 second clips at 720p. Longer scenes are a storyboard job: Film mode chains scenes shot by shot and plays them as one cut.

How to prompt it

→One flowing paragraph: subject, what moves, the camera, the light, the mood. Forty to eighty words.
→Pick a camera move from the composer (slow pan, push-in, tracking, orbit…) instead of describing the rig — it is folded into the prompt server-side.
→Keep one action per clip. Two beats in five seconds read as a glitch.
→For image-to-video, describe only the MOTION: the reference already carries the subject.

Where it sits on the roster

Seedance, Kling, Hailuo and Veo render sharper 1080p motion and longer clips, but every one of them is SFW-only and plan-gated. Motion One is the free-tier engine and the uncensored one — the two reasons it stays the default in the video studio.

Is Motion One really uncensored?

Yes, within the written acceptable-use policy: mature and adult scenes between adult, fictional characters render in frame. Content involving minors, real identifiable people or anything illegal is banned and returns a content_blocked error without charging you.

How much does a Motion One clip cost?

100 credits for a 5-second clip and 180 credits for 10 seconds — about $1 and $1.80 at the entry pack rate. A failed render refunds itself.

Can I animate a photo with Motion One?

Yes. Add a reference image (or pick a saved Character) and the engine switches to image-to-video, animating that exact face and framing.
