What you get

Video, built for products that ship.

Pick the engine, by name

No house blend hiding a vendor. Each engine is a model id with its price, its lengths and its capabilities published, because on video the engine is the decision — faces, physics, length and sound are not the same strength twice.

Submit, then walk away

A render is a job: POST returns an id, and you either poll it or register a webhook and get told. Nothing holds a request open for a minute, which is the difference between a video feature and a timeout.

Capabilities, not guesses

The engines endpoint reports what each one actually accepts — seed, end frame, negative prompt, audio, native ratios, second ranges. Send a parameter an engine does not support and it is dropped rather than failing the call.

Repeatable takes

The Seedance engines honour a seed, so a composition can be locked while you iterate on the words. They also take a start frame and an end frame and interpolate between them, which is how a clip lands on an exact final image.

One engine renders sound

Veo 3 Fast returns ambience, effects and short dialogue with the picture, in fixed eight-second clips. Every other engine is silent — narration comes from the voice API and is laid under the cut in your own editor.

The uncensored one

Motion One runs on an uncensored deployment and is the only engine that renders adult fiction, at 5 or 10 seconds and up to 720p. The premium engines are moderated by their providers and stay SFW.

FAQ

The short version.

What does a clip cost? +

From 36 credits for a three-second draft on Seedance Lite to 980 for thirty seconds on Seedance 2.5. Pricing is not linear — the first five seconds bill at the engine's five-second rate and every second after that at its marginal rate.

How long can a clip be? +

Between 3 and 30 seconds depending on the engine, and capped by the workspace plan. Only Seedance 2.5 reaches 30; most engines top out at 10 or 12, and Veo 3 Fast is fixed at 8.

Do I have to poll? +

No. Register a webhook and you get a signed callback when a render succeeds or fails, with the CDN URL rather than a base64 payload. Polling is there for when a webhook is more plumbing than you want.

Can I animate a photo? +

Yes, on every engine — pass it as a reference and the engine goes image-to-video. The Seedance engines also take an end frame, and a single reference lets the photo decide the framing.

What happens if a render fails? +

It refunds automatically and the refund appears in your usage ledger. In a batch, each failed take is refunded individually rather than the whole batch.
