A sentence, or your lyrics
Send a prompt, the song in one sentence, and the songwriter writes the style, the lyrics and a title, included in the price. Or send your own style and lyrics, with section tags on their own lines: [Intro], [Verse], [Pre-Chorus], [Chorus], [Bridge], [Outro]. A style without lyrics gets lyrics written for it, and the 202 answer echoes what the song renders from.
Vocals, or none
Language, vocals, genre, tempo and instruments go in the style, as comma-separated words. instrumental: true drops the vocals and ignores the lyrics, for a backing track, a bed under a voiceover or a loop for a stream.
Two takes, kept apart
Set n to one or two takes, two by default, each with its own seed, job and charge, so you keep the better one. Pass a seed and the takes become reproducible: take N renders with seed + N − 1.
Submit, then walk away
A song takes minutes of GPU, so the call answers 202 with one job per take. Poll GET /v1/music/generations/{id}, which is free, until the MP3 is ready, or subscribe a webhook to music.generation.succeeded and music.generation.failed.
Priced by the length you ask for
3 credits per started 30 seconds of song, per take, on the requested length: a two-minute song with two takes is 24 credits. The price does not move with the lyrics or the style, and a take that fails is refunded on its own while the other still delivers.
From an agent, too
The MCP server exposes generate_music and get_music_status, so a coding agent can write a soundtrack without leaving the conversation, and the CLI runs eroq music with a sentence and a length. Every finished take also lands in your Library with its recipe, ready to remix in the studio.

The short version.
What does a song cost? +
3 credits per started 30 seconds of song, per take, billed on the length you request: 30 seconds to 4 minutes, in steps of 30 seconds. One minute is 6 credits a take, and two takes of two minutes are 24. Polling a job is free.
Can I send my own lyrics? +
Yes: send lyrics with section tags on their own lines ([Intro], [Verse], [Pre-Chorus], [Chorus], [Bridge], [Outro]) and a style. Leave the lyrics out and the songwriter writes them for your style; send only a prompt and it writes the style, the lyrics and the title.
Can I choose the singer? +
You describe the singer in the style: a warm female vocal, a raspy baritone, a choir. There is no voice reference for singing, and the cloned voices of the voice API speak rather than sing. Describe a sound by its genre, era and vocal rather than by an artist's name.
What file comes back? +
One MP3 per take (320 kbps, 48 kHz stereo) at a signed CDN URL, with the take's real length. There are no stems, no separate vocal track and no streaming audio: a take arrives as one finished file.
What does the content policy refuse? +
The policy applies to every word you send and to what the songwriter writes: nothing involving minors, no real identifiable people without consent, nothing illegal. A refused song answers 400 content_blocked and bills nothing, or is refunded when the written lyrics are the problem.
