Prompting
Seed
A seed is the number that initializes a generation's randomness. The same prompt, settings and seed reproduce the same output, which turns re-rendering into revision instead of a gamble.
With a fixed seed you can change one word and see exactly what it does. Without one, every render is a new roll. Not every engine honors a seed; the ones that do are the ones to iterate on.
On eroq
Seedance 2.5, 1.0 Pro and 1.0 Lite honor `seed`; the studio's Remix reloads a render's full recipe so the same take can be revised.
