Private mode

What changes when you switch Private on before a render — and what it cannot promise.

Private mode is a switch on the Image, Video and Text composers. With it on, a render is delivered to your browser and nowhere else: no file is written to the Store, no Library entry is created, and the usage ledger records the prompt as stars.

What it changes

  • Reference pictures you add in Private mode stay in the browser — they are never uploaded to your Storage.

  • Models marked private retain nothing upstream; third-party video engines log requests on their side, as their model cards say.

  • Cinema renders nothing in Private mode: a film needs stored takes to assemble, so switch it off before rendering a scene.

  • A private render cannot be remixed, animated, published or shared later — download it if you want to keep it.

What it does not change

The credits are still charged and the ledger still keeps the date, the model and the amount. Private mode is about not keeping your words and your files, not about hiding that a render happened.
