Voice cloning

Voice cloning creates a synthetic voice from a recording so new text can be spoken in that voice. Modern engines need about a minute of clean speech and reproduce timbre and cadence across languages.

Consent is the rule: clone your own voice or one you have permission to use. Clean audio (one speaker, no music, no echo) matters more than length.

On eroq

Upload a recording in the voice studio; the clone is private to your account, usable on Voice One and Voice Turbo, assignable to a Character, and callable by id in the API.

Questions

Is voice cloning legal?

For your own voice or with consent, yes. eroq bans impersonating real people.
