AI ads for Shopify: from your store to static and video ads

AI ads for Shopify stores: paste your store, keep up to 8 products, then render a static batch, a video ad and variants of the winner, priced in credits.

A Shopify store already holds most of an ad brief: product names, photos, descriptions, a logo, a palette. AI ads for Shopify should start from that, not from a blank prompt. The eroq Ads Studio does: paste your store's address and it builds a brand kit and a product list from what the store already publishes.

No Shopify app to install, no admin access: the import reads your public storefront the way a visitor would and writes nothing back. Here is the route from store to ads manager, with what each step costs.

What the import reads from a Shopify store

Paste the address and press "Create my brand": Clap, eroq's assistant, reads the site in about a minute, for free.

  • Products. When the page shows a Shopify store, the import reads its public product feed (the public /products.json that Shopify storefronts serve) and takes the first 12 products it lists: each one's title, first image, first variant's price and description. Products without an image are skipped. Clap keeps up to 8 and writes one sentence on how each looks (shape, material, colors, label, packaging) for the image engines.
  • The brand kit. Name, logo (it offers the ones it found), up to five colors from your theme, fonts and social profile links, then a tagline, tone of voice, selling points, aesthetics, audience and description written from your pages. Clap is told to keep to what the site states.
  • Other stores. WooCommerce stores are read through their Store API; other sites through product structured data, then a few linked product pages.

Then you review: every product found comes selected; untick what you will not advertise and add a missing one from its page link or a photo. Product details may contain mistakes, the screen warns, so check them. Prices show on the cards but are not carried into the ads.

When you save, each product you kept becomes an Element with its photo, filed in the brand's folder on the Elements page, where you can edit its name, description and photo. An account holds up to 50 Elements in all; products past the cap are not filed, and the studio tells you how many. Later, the Products tab adds more from a product page link, a photo or by hand.

One catch: a password-protected store shows the import only its password page, so fill the kit by hand and add products from photos. More on the website import.

Get your product photos ready first

Engines that keep your product exact copy its photo, so ten minutes in your Shopify admin saves rerenders.

  1. Put a packshot first. The feed gives the import each product's first image. If that is a lifestyle shot, reorder the media so a clean packshot leads: product alone, label facing the camera, plain background.
  2. Keep people out of it. Seedance video engines refuse reference photos of real-looking people, and a model in the photo can walk into your ad.
  3. One colorway per product. The import takes one image each; to sell the sand and the black sneaker, add each from a photo ("Trail runner, sand").
  4. Check each description against its photo. At import, Clap writes it from your store's text, not the picture: fix wrong colors or materials. A product added later from its page link is described from its photo.
  5. Give the best seller a look sheet. On the element's Identity tab, a few photos of the same product from different sides blend into a look sheet (20 credits), which then rides every ad in place of the single photo.

Step 1: a static batch for each product

Open the brand, then Create, then Static ads. Under "How many ads to create?", tick "My brand" and the products, and set how many of each: up to 20 per product, 24 per batch. Clap plans the batch for free: every ad gets its own selling angle (Offer, Benefit, Ingredient or material, How it is used, Lifestyle moment, Social proof, Problem → solution, Gift, Comparison, Launch), a headline and a call to action, in any of 14 languages.

  • Clap never invents a price or a discount. Store prices are not passed to the ads, and an Offer ad appears only when your Selling points state an offer. Write your real one there before planning ("Free shipping over $50").
  • Pick an engine that sees the photo. Eroq One (20 credits an image, reads up to 10 reference photos), Krea2 and Eroq Uncensored (10 credits an image, up to 4) keep the product as it is in its photo. Engines like Nano Banana or GPT Image 2.5 read words only: the product is described, not shown.

Formats are Square (1:1) for the feed, Portrait (3:4, the image engines' nearest grid to Meta's 4:5) and Story (9:16). Meta's feed trims a 3:4 image to 4:5, so keep the product and headline away from the top and bottom edges. "Headline on the ad" sets the headline and the button on the picture; read every word before you upload, or turn it off and let the ads manager carry the text.

A solid first batch: your three best sellers, six ads each, Portrait, on Eroq One. That is 18 ads for 360 credits. Each render is billed as it starts and a failed one refunds itself. More in static ads in batches.

Step 2: one video ad for the best seller

Statics test angles cheaply; a video tests a person. Go to Create, then Video ad, pick the best seller and a format: UGC testimonial if someone holding it sells it, Product hero if the design does (all eight formats).

Cast one of your own Characters as the presenter (create one from photos or a starting point; its look sheet keeps the face across ads). Press "Write with Clap" for four spoken lines in your language and keep the one that carries a fact from your kit. The studio picks an engine with sound that reads the product photo: on Hobby, Veo 3.1 Fast, where an 8-second take with sound (set it in Duration) costs 216 credits. Two takes in 9:16 come to 432 credits.

Step 3: multiply the ad that wins

Run the statics and the video in your ads manager first. When a video wins, open the Multiplier tab: it turns one ad into ×3, ×6, ×9 or ×12 independent variants. By default each variant gets a new presenter (one Clap describes), outfit and location, while the motion, the cut and the timing stay. "Remove burned-in captions" is on by default, so the variants ship clean.

Each variant is an edit of your clip. On Replace, at 8 credits / second of clip, six variants of an 8-second ad come to 384 credits, each the same length as the original, with its original sound put back under it. Replace Pro (Creator plan and up, 59 credits / second of clip) is the second engine, for clips of 2 to 10 seconds. The Product option swaps in another of the brand's products, described in words, so check its label; for a label-exact video of another product, make a new video ad from its photo. Details in the Ad Multiplier guide.

What it costs, end to end

Step What you get Credits
Brand kit and products Kit, up to 8 products filed as Elements Free
Static batch 18 ads on Eroq One 360
Video ad 2 takes, 8 s with sound, Veo 3.1 Fast 432
Multiplier 6 variants of the 8-second winner, Replace 384
Total 26 files to test 1,176

For scale, the Hobby plan includes 1,800 credits a month for $15, and Veo 3.1 Fast needs Hobby or above.

From eroq to Meta and TikTok

eroq does not publish to Meta, TikTok or Instagram, and it does not read your results. Every render lands in the brand's own Library folder and in its History panel; open one and download the file.

In Meta Ads Manager, create the ad and add the file in the media step. Each static ad's card in History carries its headline, primary text and call to action, with a button that copies all three: paste them into the Headline and Primary text fields and pick the call-to-action button that matches. In TikTok Ads Manager, upload the 9:16 video and add the ad text and the button. Then let the platform show you which angle and which face work, and bring the winner back to the Multiplier.

FAQ

Do I need to install a Shopify app?

No. Paste your store's address in the Ads Studio. The import reads your public storefront and product feed like a visitor would; it needs no admin access and writes nothing to your store.

How many products can I import from Shopify?

Up to 8 at once, offered from the first 12 products in your store's feed; you choose which to keep. Add more later from a product page link or a photo, within 50 elements per account.

Does eroq publish the ads to Meta or TikTok?

Not yet. You download each file from the brand's folder and upload it in Meta Ads Manager or TikTok Ads Manager. eroq does not read spend, clicks or results either: testing happens in your ads manager.

Will the ads show my real product?

Yes, on engines that read the product photo: Eroq One, Krea2 and Eroq Uncensored for statics, and video engines that take reference photos, such as Veo 3.1 Fast and Kling 3.0. Text-only engines draw it from its description.

Will my store prices appear in the ads?

Only if you write them into the kit's Selling points. Store prices show during the import review but are not passed to the ads, and Clap never invents a price or a discount.
