Uncensored AI image generator — what to check before you pay

Six questions that separate an uncensored AI image generator from one that only says so: the policy, the engine, the privacy, the face, the price, the API. How eroq answers each.

"Uncensored" on an image generator can mean three different things. A prompt filter switched off while an output filter still blurs the result. A third-party engine behind a thin front, moderated by its provider whatever the landing page says. Or an engine the platform runs itself, under rules you can read. Only the last one is worth paying for. Here are the six questions that tell them apart, and what eroq answers to each, limits included.

1. Is the policy written down?

An uncensored engine still has rules. The difference is that they are a text you can read rather than a filter that guesses at intent and changes its mind from one day to the next. On eroq the acceptable-use policy is the rule: fiction only, nothing involving minors in any role or style, no real person's likeness without their consent, nothing illegal. Every character is 18 or older. A prompt that crosses the line is refused before a single credit is spent. If a generator cannot show you its policy, the real one is whatever its payment processor decides that week.

2. Which engine renders, and who moderates it?

Ask which model draws the picture and who runs it. eroq has 13 image models, and the uncensored ones are the engines eroq runs itself:

  • Eroq Uncensored: photoreal portraits, scenes and products, with up to four reference pictures and edits in place.
  • Eroq One: up to ten reference pictures to hold a face, a costume or a product, and edits written in plain words ("make it night", "add the scar").

The named flagships on the same page (GPT Image 2.5, Nano Banana, Seedream, Flux 3, Grok Imagine) are moderated by their providers. They are excellent at typography and brand work; a render they refuse comes back as content_blocked and costs nothing. A horror still, a battle wound or a dark fantasy scene belongs on eroq's own engines.

3. What happens to the prompt and the picture?

Privacy is the other half of uncensored. A generator that keeps every prompt on a server you do not control is not private, whatever it renders. Two settings matter on eroq:

  • By default, a render is saved to your library with its recipe, so you can find it and make it again. The library is private to your workspace; a picture goes public only if you publish it, after a review.
  • With Private mode on, the picture goes to your browser and nowhere else: no file, no library entry, and the usage ledger shows your prompt as stars. Reference pictures you add stay in your browser too.

Eroq Uncensored and Eroq One keep nothing upstream, and eroq never trains models on your prompts, references or creations. What Private mode cannot hide is that a render happened: the ledger keeps the date, the model and the credits.

4. Can it hold the same face?

A picture of a character is only useful if it is the same character in the next one. Ask how identity is carried. On eroq you can add reference pictures (four on Eroq Uncensored, ten on Eroq One), or save the person as a Character with a look sheet and @mention them by name. The face, the hair and the outfit hold from one render to the next. Only fictional people, or real people who consented.

5. What does an image actually cost?

Ask for the price per image at the format you will use, and what happens when a render fails. Eroq Uncensored is 10 credits / image and Eroq One 10 credits / image, +1 per extra picture, the same at every format from square to 16:9. Batches run up to four takes, and each failed take refunds itself. One credit is about a cent on the Starter pack ($10 for 1,000 credits) and less on a plan: a Hobby month ($15) is 180 Eroq Uncensored images.

6. Is there an API, or only a web page?

If the pictures feed an app, a shop or a client, the generator has to be an API. eroq's is POST /v1/images/generations with the model eroq-uncensored or eroq-one, the same parameters as the studio, and private: true for Private mode. The same engines work inside ChatGPT and Claude through the MCP server. The studio is a client of that API; nothing in it is studio-only.

The limits, stated

  • No real people without their consent: not a celebrity, not an ex, not a politician.
  • No minors, in any role, on any engine, in any style.
  • The named flagships stay moderated: for in-image text, they are the right tool and they follow their provider's rules.
  • Uncensored does not mean unlimited: the same prices apply, and the same refunds.

What eroq is for, in one line

Fiction with your own characters, on image engines nobody moderates upstream, with the picture and the prompt kept private when you ask for it, at a price you read before you press Generate. The uncensored image generator page has the specs; for clips, see the uncensored video generator.

FAQ

Is Eroq Uncensored really uncensored?

Within the written policy, yes. eroq runs the engine itself, so no provider moderates it upstream, and dark, violent or provocative fiction renders as written. Minors, real people's likenesses without consent and illegal content are refused before billing.

Is it private?

Eroq Uncensored and Eroq One keep nothing upstream, and eroq never trains on your prompts or pictures. Your library is private to your workspace. With Private mode on, no file or library entry is kept and the ledger shows your prompt as stars.

Can I turn an uncensored image into a video?

Yes. Press Animate on the render and it becomes the first frame of a clip on Motion One or Motion Pro, eroq's own video engines, uncensored within the same policy.

Which image models are moderated?

GPT Image 2.5, Nano Banana, Seedream, Flux 3 and Grok Imagine are moderated by their providers. A render they refuse is returned as content_blocked and not charged.

What is the cheapest way to try?

A new account starts with 50 free credits, enough for a few Eroq Uncensored images at 10 credits / image. After that, the Starter pack is $10.
