A Suno alternative for uncensored AI music, priced per song

Looking for a Suno alternative? eroq's Music One writes and sings full songs, bills per song with no download cap, and keeps lyrics uncensored within a written policy.

People look for a Suno alternative for three reasons, usually in this order: a song that would not generate, a download limit they hit mid-month, or a subscription they would rather not keep paying for a few songs a year. eroq's Music One answers those three in its own way. It does not answer everything Suno does, and this page says where.

Every Suno figure below comes from suno.com/pricing as read on 14 October 2026, or from third-party guides where it says so. Plans change: check their pricing page before you decide.

What Music One is

Music One is the song engine in the eroq music studio. It makes full songs with vocals and instruments, from 30 seconds to 4 minutes:

  • Simple: one sentence ("a melancholy synth-pop song about leaving a small town at night, warm female vocal"). The studio's songwriter writes the lyrics, the style and a title, included in the price, and the song renders.
  • Custom: your own lyrics, shaped by section tags on their own lines — [Verse], [Chorus], [Bridge], [Outro] — plus a few style words for the sound, and a title if you want one.
  • Instrumental: one switch, no vocals.

Each run makes one or two takes, two by default, each its own performance of the same song. Every take lands in your Library as an MP3 (320 kbps, 48 kHz stereo). Remix in Custom reopens a song with the same style, lyrics and length so you can change a word and go again, and Score a film starts a film on it in Cinema.

Reason 1: the song would not generate

Third-party guides list what tends to make a Suno generation fail: well-known artist names, copyrighted or trademarked terms, and "excessive profanity".

On eroq, lyrics are uncensored within a written policy. That means profanity is fine, and so are heartbreak, revenge, grief and dark or violent storytelling. No keyword filter sits on your lyrics beyond that policy. What the policy refuses, for every song:

  • anything that is not fiction;
  • anything involving minors;
  • real, identifiable people without their consent;
  • anything illegal;
  • sexual violence.

One habit carries over from Suno: describe the sound, not an artist. Music One is steered by genre, era, vocal character, tempo and instruments rather than by names, and the songwriter itself never names artists. A song about a real, identifiable person falls under the policy above: not without their consent.

Privacy is the other half of "uncensored". Your songs are private in your Library unless you choose to publish one, and the Music One engine keeps nothing upstream.

Reason 2: the download cap

As of October 2026, Suno's Free plan has no song downloads, Pro allows 20 a month and Premier 60. Suno also added audio watermarking and a downloads policy in August 2026, as Digital Music News reported.

eroq has no download cap. Every take you pay for is an MP3 in your Library, and you download as many as you make.

Reason 3: the subscription

Suno sells plans: Pro at $8 a month shown (billed yearly; about $10 month to month according to third-party guides) with 2,500 credits a month, and Premier at $24 a month shown (billed yearly; about $30 month to month) with 10,000. Credits do not roll over.

Music One needs no plan. It runs on every account and bills per song: 3 credits per started 30 seconds, per take. A three-minute take is 18 credits. A $10 pack of 1,000 credits is enough for dozens of them. If you make songs every month, the Hobby plan is $15 for 1,800 credits, about 100 three-minute takes, and on eroq unused credits never expire.

Where Suno is the better pick

Being fair about it:

  • Price per generation. Third-party guides put one Suno generation at about 10 credits, returning two songs: roughly 500 songs a month on Pro, a few cents each. A three-minute Music One take is about $0.15 at the Hobby rate. If you generate in bulk and only keep a handful, Suno costs less.
  • Editing tools. Suno Premier lists personas, adding vocals or instrumentals to existing songs, and three types of stem separation. Music One does none of those today.
  • Commercial use. Suno lists commercial use rights on Pro and Premier. For eroq, read the terms of service.

And the sound itself is for your ears to judge. We make no claim that Music One sounds like Suno, or better. In our own listening, some vocal takes can sound slightly synthetic; that is part of why the studio renders two takes by default.

Try the same song on both

The honest test takes five minutes. Write one sentence, the one you would actually use, and render it on both. On eroq, open Music, stay on Simple, pick a length and two takes, and press Generate; the button shows the exact credits before you click. Then compare what you hear, what you can download and what it cost.

FAQ

Is eroq a good Suno alternative?

For keeping many songs, for lyrics Suno refuses, and for paying per song without a subscription, yes. Suno is cheaper per generation and has stems, personas and vocal tools that Music One lacks. Listen to both before you pick.

Can eroq songs swear?

Yes. Profanity is allowed in lyrics, along with dark, violent and heartbreak themes, within the written policy: fiction only, nothing involving minors, no real identifiable people without consent, nothing illegal, no sexual violence.

Can I ask for a song in the style of a famous singer?

Describe the sound instead: "1980s synth-pop, breathy female vocal, gated drums, 104 BPM" gets you further than a name would, since genre, era and instruments are what Music One follows.

How much does a song cost on eroq?

3 credits per started 30 seconds, per take. A one-minute take is 6 credits, three minutes 18, four minutes 24. A take that fails is refunded on its own.

Is there a limit on how many songs I can download?

No. Every take is saved to your Library as an MP3 and you can download all of them.

Does Music One sound as good as Suno?

We do not claim it does. Render the same idea on both and decide by ear. Some Music One vocal takes can sound slightly synthetic, which is why two takes are the default.
