AI music generator pricing compared: Suno vs ElevenLabs Music vs eroq

What an AI song really costs in October 2026: Suno's plans and download caps, Eleven Music at 900 credits or $0.15 a minute, and eroq's Music One billed per 30 seconds.

AI music generators price in three different ways, which makes them hard to compare at a glance. Suno sells monthly plans with a generation allowance and a download cap. ElevenLabs bills Eleven Music by the minute, from plan credits or on its API. eroq bills Music One by the length of the song, per take, from prepaid credits. This guide puts all three on the same two scales: per song and per minute.

Competitor figures are as of October 2026, read on suno.com/pricing and elevenlabs.io/pricing on 14 October 2026, or taken from third-party guides where marked. Prices move; check their pricing pages before you buy.

How each one bills

Suno: plans, an allowance, a download cap

  • Free: $0, 50 credits a day, no song downloads, no commercial rights, model v6-mini.
  • Pro: $8 a month shown, billed yearly (about $10 month to month, per third-party guides). 2,500 credits a month, 20 song downloads a month, commercial use rights, models v6 and v6-wild.
  • Premier: $24 a month shown, billed yearly (about $30 month to month). 10,000 credits a month, 60 song downloads a month, personas, adding vocals or instrumentals to existing songs, three types of stem separation.

Third-party guides say one generation costs about 10 credits and returns two songs, which puts Pro at roughly 500 songs a month. Credits do not roll over.

ElevenLabs: by the minute

  • In the app, Eleven Music costs 900 credits per minute of music, drawn from your plan: Free has 10,000 credits, Creator 121,000, Pro 600,000 for $99, Scale 1.8 million for $299, Business 6 million for $990. "Music commercial use" is listed from the Starter plan.
  • On the API, Eleven Music is billed at $0.15 a minute, with a 5-minute duration limit.
  • Each generation, each variant, is billed by the minute.

eroq: by the 30 seconds, per take

  • Music One costs 3 credits per started 30 seconds of song, per take, billed on the length you choose (30 seconds to 4 minutes).
  • The studio renders two takes by default; you can switch to one. A take that fails is refunded on its own.
  • Credits come from packs (from $10 for 1,000) or plans (from $15 a month for 1,800). No plan is required for music, and credits never expire.
  • No download cap: every take is an MP3 in your Library.

Per song

Take a three-minute song, one take.

One 3-minute song Notes
Suno Pro A few cents About 10 credits per generation of two songs (guides); 20 downloads a month
Suno Premier A few cents Same arithmetic; 60 downloads a month
Eleven Music, app 2,700 credits About $0.45 on the Pro plan's credits
Eleven Music, API $0.45 $0.15 × 3 minutes
eroq Music One 18 credits $0.15 at the Hobby rate, $0.18 at the $10 pack rate

Per generation, Suno is the cheapest by a distance. If you generate a lot and download a little, nothing here beats it. The catch is the download cap: on Pro, the 21st song you want to keep that month waits for next month or a bigger plan.

Per minute

Per minute of song
Eleven Music, API $0.15
Eleven Music, app (Pro or Scale credits) About $0.15
eroq Music One, $10 pack $0.06
eroq Music One, Hobby monthly $0.05
eroq Music One, Hobby billed yearly $0.04

Suno does not appear here: its credits price generations, not minutes, and we do not have a verified song length to divide by.

Against ElevenLabs' per-minute price, Music One comes out at a fraction of it on every eroq rate. ElevenLabs' API also takes songs up to five minutes, where Music One stops at four.

What a month looks like

Three typical uses, priced on eroq with one take each:

  • A hobbyist, ten three-minute songs: 180 credits, a fraction of a $10 pack.
  • A creator, a 30-second track for every daily short: 90 credits a month, inside the Hobby plan's 1,800 with plenty left for the clips.
  • An app, 500 two-minute songs: 6,000 credits, against the Creator plan's 6,000 credits a month.

Double those figures if you keep two takes per song, the studio's default.

What the price does not tell you

  • Sound. Price says nothing about whether you like the result. Render the same brief on each and listen. In our own listening, some Music One vocal takes can sound slightly synthetic; two takes per run is how the studio hedges that.
  • Downloads. Suno's caps (none on Free, 20 or 60 a month on paid plans) are part of the price if you keep songs.
  • Content. Third-party guides report Suno generations failing on artist names, trademarks and "excessive profanity". eroq lyrics are uncensored within a written policy: fiction only, nothing involving minors, no real identifiable people without consent, nothing illegal, no sexual violence. The songwriter never names a real artist, and Music One is steered by genre, era and instrument words rather than by names.
  • Rights. Suno lists commercial use on Pro and Premier, ElevenLabs from Starter. For eroq, read the terms of service.
  • Everything else in the wallet. On eroq the same credits pay for video, images, voice and chat, and a song can score a film in Cinema.
