# Workspaces and seats

> Credits, renders and keys belong to a workspace; invite people into it, and the plan decides how many seats it holds.

_Help center › Workspaces & teams_

Every account has a personal workspace, and can be a member of others. The workspace owns the wallet, the Library, the Storage, the API keys and the plan; switching workspace (the switcher at the top of the rail) switches all of it. Everyone in a workspace spends from one balance, which is why a team does not need five cards.

## Inviting

Workspace → Members → Invite by email, with a role and, if you like, permissions adjusted before they even join. The invitation is accepted automatically the next time that person signs in. Pending invitations count as seats.

## Seats

A free workspace is one seat and every individual plan holds two — you and a collaborator. Teams are what the business tiers are for: Hobby 2, Creator 2, Studio 2, Team 25, Agency 50 seats. The seat counter above the invitation form always shows where you stand, and a refused invitation names the plan that would fix it.
