# Using the API

> One REST API at eroq.ai/v1 for everything the studio does — the studio itself is a client of it.

The API is OpenAI-shaped: chat completions, image and video generations, speech, transcription, plus characters, elements, films, uploads and the Library. Every feature of the studio exists as an operation, documented at /docs with an OpenAPI file and a markdown twin of every page for your coding agent.

- Video and image generations are asynchronous: POST the job, then poll its status or receive a signed webhook when it lands. A job that fails refunds itself.
- Free to call: models, engines, prompt enhancement, job polling, the Library.
- Prices are the studio's prices. The request log in the developer hub shows every call with its credits.
