# The review step and moderation

> Everything public on eroq is looked at by a person first. What review checks, what happens to a rejection, and how reports work.

A published creation, film or voice is Pending until someone on the team has looked at it — then Approved and visible, or Rejected with a note you can read on the card. Review checks the acceptable-use policy, nothing else: fiction of any tone is fine; content involving minors, real people without consent or anything illegal is not.

- Changing the public face of an approved item — a new cover, a new title — sends it back through review.
- Every public page and shared folder has a Report link. Reports go to the team; a report of a voice does too.
- Serious violations suspend the account, and removed media is kept out of reach as evidence rather than simply deleted. The policy page says what is reported to the authorities.
