# Likes, comments and views

> How engagement is counted on the shelf — and what you can do about comments on your own work.

_Help center › Community & publishing_

- Likes work without an account. Comments need one and show your handle.
- Views are counted once per person per day, so refreshing a page does not inflate anything.
- You can delete your own comments anywhere, and any comment on your own media.
- Unpublishing hides the item; its counts come back if you publish it again.
