# Edit and export

> The Edit tab cuts the takes together — trims, transitions, titles, sound — and exports an MP4 in your browser.

_Help center › Cinema_

The Edit tab is a timeline: the video track holds the chosen take of each scene, snapped end to end; you trim clips, add crossfades, fades and dips, lay sound under them — your voice lines, uploaded music, the original sound of a Replace result — and preview the whole cut in the player.

## Media

The media panel lists the film's scenes, your Creations and your Uploads. Audio uploads (mp3, wav, m4a, aac, ogg, opus, flac) and video or image files go to a Cinema folder in Storage.

## Export

Export renders the cut to an MP4 inside your browser — no credits, no server queue — and saves it as the film's cut (up to 95 MB; the bitrate adapts to stay under). Publishing then uses that cut as a single video. Without an export, Publish plays the takes one after another.
