# Elements: places, objects and styles

> Reusable ingredients for prompts — a recurring set, a product, a house look — with a photo and a look sheet where it matters.

_Help center › Characters & elements_

An element is a place, an object or a style you want to reuse by name. Elements → New picks the kind, and the starting points on that page show the sort of thing each kind is for. Up to 50 per account.

- Places and objects take photos and a look sheet, like characters; the sheet is what the engine sees when you @mention them.
- A style can be a description alone: it rides along in the prompt for free and takes no picture slot.
- An object with a photo is also a product for the Ads tab of Video.
