# Notifications and emails

> What the bell shows, which emails eroq sends, and the switches for each of them.

The bell in the top bar collects workspace events — a top-up, a member joining, a review decision, a comment, a low balance. Settings → Notifications holds the switches, grouped: balance alerts, offers and promotions, your creations and workspace, getting started, and the in-app bell itself. Each group has a master switch and finer ones underneath.

- The low-balance threshold is per workspace, in Workspace → Notifications, and emails at most once a day.
- Promotional emails are off the moment you untick Offers & promotions, and every one of them has a one-click unsubscribe link. Transactional emails (receipts, confirmations) are not optional.
- No email ever contains a creation's title, media or a comment's text — just a link.
