# eroq help center

> The studio explained topic by topic.

## Getting started

Your account, your first render, and how the studio is laid out.

- https://eroq.ai/help/getting-started/create-your-account — Create your account: Sign up with an email address or a Google account, confirm it, and start with 50 free credits — no card needed.
- https://eroq.ai/help/getting-started/your-first-render — Your first render: From the studio home to a finished image, clip or voice line — and what happens to it afterwards.
- https://eroq.ai/help/getting-started/the-studio-at-a-glance — The studio at a glance: What each item in the left rail does, the search bar, themes and languages.
- https://eroq.ai/help/getting-started/what-free-credits-buy — What 50 free credits buy: A realistic picture of the trial, so the first clip is not a surprise.
- https://eroq.ai/help/getting-started/private-mode — Private mode: What changes when you switch Private on before a render — and what it cannot promise.

## Credits, plans & billing

How credits are metered, packs versus plans, offers, payment methods and refunds.

- https://eroq.ai/help/billing/how-credits-work — How credits work: Prepaid credits, one price per generation shown before you click, and automatic refunds when something fails.
- https://eroq.ai/help/billing/packs-vs-plans — Packs versus plans: Packs are credits you buy once; plans refill every month and unlock engines, longer clips, seats and storage.
- https://eroq.ai/help/billing/offers-and-discounts — Offers and discounts: Offers are personal, open once, and shown with a countdown — never advertised without being honoured at checkout.
- https://eroq.ai/help/billing/change-or-cancel-a-plan — Change or cancel a plan: Upgrade in place, cancel at the end of the period, resume before it ends — and what a downgrade keeps.
- https://eroq.ai/help/billing/pay-with-crypto — Pay with crypto: Packs and plans can be paid with crypto through a hosted invoice; a crypto plan is one prepaid period that never renews.
- https://eroq.ai/help/billing/refunds — Refunds: A purchase whose credits are untouched can be refunded within 14 days; once a credit has been used, the payment is final.

## Image

Generate, edit with reference pictures, remove backgrounds, remix and animate.

- https://eroq.ai/help/image/generate-an-image — Generate an image: The Create tab: prompt, model, format, takes, negative prompt and the Enhance button.
- https://eroq.ai/help/image/edit-with-reference-pictures — Edit with reference pictures: The Edit tab turns pictures into numbered slots you can point at from the prompt: "put the jacket from Picture 2 on Picture 1".
- https://eroq.ai/help/image/remove-a-background — Remove a background: The Remove background tab cuts a subject out of any picture; it is priced like an image and greyed out when the tool is unavailable.
- https://eroq.ai/help/image/remix-and-animate — Remix and Animate: Every render keeps its recipe: Remix reloads it in the tool, Animate turns an image into the first frame of a clip.

## Video

Clips on every engine, camera moves, Replace, ad recipes and the render queue.

- https://eroq.ai/help/video/generate-a-clip — Generate a clip: The Quick tab: engine, length, format, resolution, sound, start and end frames, takes — and what each control costs.
- https://eroq.ai/help/video/video-engines-and-plans — Video engines and plans: 16 engines, named: which ones every account gets, which ones a plan unlocks, and how Motion One differs.
- https://eroq.ai/help/video/camera-moves-and-director-syntax — Camera moves and director syntax: 24 camera moves, lenses, apertures, lighting and palettes as one-click chips — and the words the composer recognises when you type them instead.
- https://eroq.ai/help/video/replace-swap-and-recast — Replace: swap and recast in your own clip: Video → Replace rewrites part of a clip you already have — a character, an outfit, a product, the weather — and keeps the rest.
- https://eroq.ai/help/video/ad-recipes — Ad recipes: The Ads tab renders a product you saved as an element through eight ready-made commercial prompts.
- https://eroq.ai/help/video/render-queue — The render queue: Video renders run in the background; the top-bar queue follows them for you and your teammates, and nothing is lost if you navigate away.

## Cinema

Films: the script, the storyboard, the edit and the export.

- https://eroq.ai/help/cinema/what-is-cinema — What is Cinema: A space for films: a script of scenes, a storyboard that renders them one by one, an edit with transitions and sound, and an MP4 export.
- https://eroq.ai/help/cinema/write-the-script — Write the script: The Script tab is a document of blocks: scenes are what the engine reads, everything else is your notes.
- https://eroq.ai/help/cinema/render-the-storyboard — Render the storyboard: Each scene renders on its own, with takes and re-renders; continuous shots start the next scene on the last frame of the previous one.
- https://eroq.ai/help/cinema/edit-and-export — Edit and export: The Edit tab cuts the takes together — trims, transitions, titles, sound — and exports an MP4 in your browser.
- https://eroq.ai/help/cinema/publish-a-film — Publish a film: Publish puts a film on the community shelf with a title and a cover, after a review by the team.

## Voice & transcription

Text to speech, delivery tags, voice cloning, public voices and Scribe.

- https://eroq.ai/help/voice/text-to-speech — Text to speech: Voice One and Voice Turbo, the roster of voices, speed and expressiveness, and the per-request limit.
- https://eroq.ai/help/voice/delivery-tags — Delivery tags: Tags in [brackets] — [whispering], [laughing], [pause] — direct the read on Voice One instead of being read aloud.
- https://eroq.ai/help/voice/clone-a-voice — Clone a voice: About a minute of clean speech makes a private clone that works on both engines and can be assigned to a character.
- https://eroq.ai/help/voice/public-voices — Public voices: A clone you make public joins the Community category of the voice explorer, ranked by use, with likes and a report button.
- https://eroq.ai/help/voice/transcribe-audio-and-dictate — Transcribe audio and dictate: Scribe One turns an audio file into text at 1 credit per started minute; the microphone on every composer dictates for free.

## Text & roleplay

Scene writing and messaging with your characters, and the Ask bar.

- https://eroq.ai/help/text/scene-writing-and-messaging — Scene writing and messaging: The Text tool writes scenes and messages with your characters, in two registers, with a context field and templates.
- https://eroq.ai/help/text/ask-anything — Ask: launch anything by asking: The bar at the top of the studio home sets a tool up from a sentence, in any language, without spending a credit or opening anything by itself.

## Characters & elements

A persistent cast, reusable places and objects, look sheets and @mentions.

- https://eroq.ai/help/characters/create-a-character — Create a character: A character is a persistent cast member: a name and persona, reference photos, a look sheet and a voice, @mentionable in every tool.
- https://eroq.ai/help/characters/look-sheets — Look sheets: One generated sheet per character or element is the identity every render reads — and a character without one cannot be cast.
- https://eroq.ai/help/characters/elements — Elements: places, objects and styles: Reusable ingredients for prompts — a recurring set, a product, a house look — with a photo and a look sheet where it matters.
- https://eroq.ai/help/characters/mentions-and-cast — @mentions and cast: Type @ in any prompt to bring in a character, an element, an upload or a recent render; the Cast and Elements pickers do the same from Settings.
- https://eroq.ai/help/characters/keep-the-same-face — Keep the same face across renders: Identity holds through a look sheet and references; wardrobe holds through words. What to do when a character drifts.

## Library & storage

Where renders go, folders and favorites, uploads, quotas and shared links.

- https://eroq.ai/help/library/your-library — Your Library: Every render lands in the Library with its recipe; folders, favorites, search, Remix, download and delete live there.
- https://eroq.ai/help/library/storage-and-uploads — Storage and uploads: Storage holds the files you bring in — reference pictures, clips to edit, music — in one quota shared with your unpublished Library.
- https://eroq.ai/help/library/share-a-folder — Share a folder with a link: On Team, Agency and Enterprise, a Library folder can be opened to anyone with its link — files only, never your prompts.

## Community & publishing

Publishing to the shelf, the review step, likes and comments, Explore.

- https://eroq.ai/help/community/publish-a-creation — Publish a creation: Any render can go on the community shelf with a title and a cover; it appears once the team has reviewed it, and your recipe stays private.
- https://eroq.ai/help/community/review-and-moderation — The review step and moderation: Everything public on eroq is looked at by a person first. What review checks, what happens to a rejection, and how reports work.
- https://eroq.ai/help/community/likes-comments-and-views — Likes, comments and views: How engagement is counted on the shelf — and what you can do about comments on your own work.
- https://eroq.ai/help/community/explore-in-the-studio — Explore inside the studio: The Explore tab in the rail is the community shelf without leaving the studio: films, clips, stills and voices, by trending, new or top.

## Workspaces & teams

Seats, roles and permissions, credit ceilings, invitations and ownership.

- https://eroq.ai/help/workspaces/workspaces-and-seats — Workspaces and seats: Credits, renders and keys belong to a workspace; invite people into it, and the plan decides how many seats it holds.
- https://eroq.ai/help/workspaces/roles-and-permissions — Roles and permissions: Five roles, each a set of capabilities — and checkboxes to adjust any member above or below their role.
- https://eroq.ai/help/workspaces/credit-ceilings-and-rate-shares — Credit ceilings and rate shares: Cap what a member spends per month and how much of the workspace's rate limits they may use.
- https://eroq.ai/help/workspaces/transfer-ownership — Transfer ownership: Make another member the owner; you stay as an admin, and a plan paid with your card stays on your card.

## Account, privacy & safety

Sign-in, two-factor, notifications, what eroq stores, the content policy, deleting your account.

- https://eroq.ai/help/account/sign-in-and-two-factor — Sign-in and two-factor authentication: Email and password or Google, and an authenticator app as a second factor from Settings.
- https://eroq.ai/help/account/confirmation-email-not-arriving — The confirmation email is not arriving: Check spam, wait a few minutes, or skip email entirely with Google sign-in.
- https://eroq.ai/help/account/notifications-and-emails — Notifications and emails: What the bell shows, which emails eroq sends, and the switches for each of them.
- https://eroq.ai/help/account/what-eroq-stores — What eroq stores: The usage ledger, your Library, what is public, what the chat keeps — and the two switches that change it.
- https://eroq.ai/help/account/content-policy — The content policy, in short: What "uncensored" means on eroq, what is banned without exception, and how it is enforced.
- https://eroq.ai/help/account/account-suspended — My account is suspended: Why an account gets suspended — a policy violation or a third account — and what to do.
- https://eroq.ai/help/account/delete-your-account — Delete your account: Settings → Danger zone deletes everything immediately — and what has to happen first if you own a shared workspace or a plan.

## API, MCP & plugins

Keys, the REST API, ChatGPT and Claude connectors, the creative-app plugins.

- https://eroq.ai/help/developers/api-keys — API keys: Create and revoke keys from the developer hub; how many a plan allows, and what to do when one leaks.
- https://eroq.ai/help/developers/using-the-api — Using the API: One REST API at eroq.ai/v1 for everything the studio does — the studio itself is a client of it.
- https://eroq.ai/help/developers/connect-chatgpt-claude-and-cursor — Connect ChatGPT, Claude and Cursor: The MCP server at eroq.ai/mcp puts the generation tools inside the assistants you already use.
- https://eroq.ai/help/developers/creative-app-plugins — Plugins for Photoshop, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Figma and Blender: eroq inside the creative apps, in beta: generate from a panel and the result lands in the open document, layer, timeline or scene.
- https://eroq.ai/help/developers/sillytavern-and-openai-compatible-apps — SillyTavern and OpenAI-compatible apps: Chat completions follow the OpenAI shape, so any frontend connects with a base URL, a key and a model id.
- https://eroq.ai/help/developers/rate-limits-and-errors — Rate limits and errors: Per-key limits per minute, how a plan multiplies them, and what 402, 429, content_blocked and 503 mean.

## Troubleshooting

Failed renders, blocked prompts, greyed-out models, missing emails and other dead ends.

- https://eroq.ai/help/troubleshooting/render-failed-was-i-charged — My render failed — was I charged?: No. Failures refund themselves, take by take, and show as negative rows in the ledger. What to check before writing in.
- https://eroq.ai/help/troubleshooting/content-blocked — I got content_blocked: The engine declined the prompt, or the policy guard refused it. It is a code, not a lecture, and it is never charged.
- https://eroq.ai/help/troubleshooting/not-enough-credits — Not enough credits: The button says what the render needs and what you have; here is what to do about the gap.
- https://eroq.ai/help/troubleshooting/model-greyed-out — A model or tool is greyed out: Either your plan does not unlock it yet, or it is not available on this deployment. Neither charges you.
- https://eroq.ai/help/troubleshooting/page-broken-after-an-update — The page looks broken after an update: A tab open across a deployment can hold old code; a reload fixes it.
- https://eroq.ai/help/troubleshooting/microphone-not-working — The microphone is not working: Dictation needs a browser microphone permission and a secure connection; the button hides when neither is there.
- https://eroq.ai/help/troubleshooting/clip-has-no-sound — My clip has no sound: Some engines are silent, and on others the soundtrack is a switch you may have left off.
- https://eroq.ai/help/troubleshooting/two-shots-in-one-clip — My clip looks like two shots crammed together: The prompt asked for two actions. Engines render one beat cleanly; the second beat belongs in a second scene.
