# Call to action (CTA)

> The call to action tells the viewer what to do next: shop, try, sign up, learn more. In ad platforms it is both a line in the copy and a button with a fixed label.

A clear CTA names one action and, when there is one, the reason to act now (an offer, a limited drop). Platforms offer a set list of button labels; the copy can say more.

## On eroq

Every static ad Clap plans comes with its call to action, and "Headline on the ad" can set the headline and the button on the picture.

## FAQ

### Which CTA works best?

The one that matches what the viewer is ready to do: "Shop now" for a product they already understand, "Learn more" for something new. Test two when unsure.

### Should the CTA be on the image?

On a static ad it can be, as a button-like shape near the bottom; keep it clear of the platform's own interface at the edges.

### Can a CTA mention an offer?

Only a real one. eroq's Clap writes an offer into the copy only if your brand kit states it.
