# A Higgsfield Supercomputer alternative inside your studio: eroq Make

> A fair look at eroq Make as a Higgsfield Supercomputer alternative: the same plan, price and Approve loop, with your own characters and the cut in Cinema.

Searching for a Higgsfield Supercomputer alternative usually means you want the agent: one chat, a plan you can read, a price before anything renders, and renders that feed each other until the piece is done. **Make** does that inside the eroq studio. It is the second mode of [Ask](/ask), launched on 2 October 2026, and the producer is Clap, eroq's cheerful little clapperboard.

Here is a fair side-by-side, then who should pick which.

## What Supercomputer is, in Higgsfield's words

All of this comes from Higgsfield's guide and help center as of October 2026; check their site for the current details.

- **A chat agent that runs Higgsfield end to end from one chat**, launched in May 2026.
- **It plans before it generates.** It breaks the task into steps, picks models and presets, and shows the plan and its credit cost (model, quality, duration, aspect ratio). It runs after you click Approve.
- **It chains.** Each step's output feeds the next, and the outputs land in a project.
- **You choose what it thinks with:** automatic routing, or a model you pick. Anthropic, OpenAI, Google and others are named in their selector.
- **It reaches past the studio:** skills triggered with a slash, such as `/montage` or `/cinematic`, connectors to apps like Slack, Google Drive, Notion or Figma, and scheduled tasks.

That last point is where the two products differ most.

## What Make is

A switch under the Ask bar, at the top of the [studio](/studio) home, reads **Ask | Make**. In Ask, Clap sets the right tool up and nothing renders until you click Generate. In Make, Clap produces the piece with you, end to end, and asks before it spends: plan, price, approve, render, chain, report.

## One production, from brief to cut

Say your product is AMBRE, a perfume saved as an [Element](/studio/elements), and you want an ad.

1. **You type the brief:** "A 15-second vertical ad for AMBRE, for TikTok." Stuck? Starters around Clap, such as "A 15-second ad", fill the bar for you.
2. **Clap asks what it needs, one question at a time**, at most three before the first storyboard; a clear request goes straight to the plan. Who stars? The chips are your own [Characters](/studio/characters), pictures included. You tap Mara (or type), and her look sheet will ride every keyframe and clip as her identity picture.
3. **It writes the storyboard:** 2–4 scenes for an ad. Each scene prompt is written in English for the engines, 50 to 110 words: Mara by name in the same wardrobe, shot size and lens feel, the same light words throughout so the shots cut together, never on-screen text or logos.
4. **It proposes a plan.** Here, a look test: one keyframe per scene at 10 credits each on the default image model. The card reads "Plan · 3 renders", lists "Keyframe · Scene 1" to "Keyframe · Scene 3" with model, format and price, and ends on one button: **"Approve · 30 credits"**. Each row opens on its full prompt.
5. **Nothing renders before you approve**, and the price on the card is the price charged. Short on credits? The button says how many it needs and links to top up.
6. **It renders, reports and chains.** When the renders land, they show in a grid under the plan card, a grey line says "3 renders landed", and Clap proposes the clips: on [Seedance 2.0 Mini](/models/seedance-2-0-mini), the default video engine, 45 credits for 5 seconds or 90 credits for 10. Each clip can open on its scene's keyframe (on engines that take a start frame), so the look you approved is the look that moves. Then a voiceover at 3 credits per 100 characters, and the cut.

A plan holds at most 8 renders, 6 of them clips at most. A failed render is refunded automatically ("not charged"), and Clap offers a fix: a retry, another engine, a shorter clip. ## What the loop works with in eroq

### Clap thinks out loud

While a reply is written, a thinking block streams what Clap is doing ("Writing the storyboard…", "Pricing the plan…") and its production notes, then folds to "Thought for 7s". Under the latest reply, **"Next steps"** offers 2–4 suggestions in your words: "Add a voiceover", "Make scene 2 at night", "Make it 16:9".

### The Production panel, then Cinema

To the right of the chat (behind a "Production" button on a phone) sit the brief, the **Cast** and **Elements** you can add to, and what you are making: each scene's keyframe and clip for a video, the images for a photo shoot, the lines for a voice piece, plus every render and the credits spent. Once there is a clip, **"Open in Cinema"** turns the production into a [Cinema](/studio/cinema) film, clips in order and voice lines on the audio track. There you trim, add sound and titles, re-render any scene and export an MP4.

### A brain you choose

**Auto**, Clap's own pick for producing, is included. Or pick a named model, billed per message with the price shown before you send: Claude Sonnet 5.5 (11 credits), Claude Opus 5.5 (22 credits), GPT-5.6 Sol (11 credits), Gemini 3.1 Pro (13 credits) or Grok 4.7 (9 credits), 6 brains in all with Auto. If the model you picked cannot answer, Auto does and that message costs nothing. More in [choosing the model that directs your video](/blog/choose-the-ai-model-that-directs-your-video).

## What Make does not have

Three things on Higgsfield's list for Supercomputer are not on ours:

- **No connectors.** Make does not reach into Slack, Google Drive, Notion, Figma or any other app.
- **No skills library.** There is nothing to trigger with a slash; the starters are plain example requests.
- **No scheduled tasks.** Every plan starts with your click on Approve, never on a timer.

Also: no web browsing, no API or MCP (Make lives in the signed-in studio only), no lip-sync, no upscaling, no inpainting, no music generation. Make does not watch your videos to judge them; it reads which renders landed or failed.

## Which one should you pick?

- **Supercomputer**, if the agent must reach outside the studio (Slack, Drive, Notion, Figma), run on a schedule or call slash skills, or if your projects already live in Higgsfield.
- **Make**, if recurring characters and products are the point, if you want every render priced line by line behind one Approve, and if you want to finish the cut in the same studio.
- **Not sure?** Give both the same brief and compare the plans before approving anything. Both show a price first.

## FAQ

### Is eroq Make a Higgsfield Supercomputer alternative?

For the core loop, yes: one chat that plans, prices, waits for your Approve, renders, chains and proposes the next step. Make runs it in the eroq studio with your own characters and elements, and ends in Cinema. It has no connectors, slash skills or scheduled tasks.

### Does Make spend credits without asking?

No. Nothing renders before you click "Approve · N credits", the price on the plan is the price charged, and a failed render is refunded. On Auto the conversation is included; a named model bills each message at the price shown before you send.

### Can I choose the model that plans my production?

Yes. Auto is included; Claude Opus 5.5, Gemini 3.1 Pro and the other named models are billed per message, and Auto steps in for free if yours cannot answer. Renders cost the same whichever brain planned them.

### Will my characters look the same in every scene?

With a look sheet, yes: it rides every keyframe and clip as their identity picture. Without one, a character, place or product rides as words only, and the plan links you to make the sheet.

### Can Make run from Slack, the API or on a schedule?

No. Make lives in the signed-in studio only: no API, no MCP, no connectors, no scheduled jobs. The conversation stays in your browser for 30 days, on that device.

[Open the studio](/studio), flip the switch to Make and type your first brief. On Auto, talking it through is included; you only spend on the renders you approve. Action!
