# How to connect eroq to Claude — images, video and voice in one click > Add eroq to Claude as a custom connector in one click, sign in, and generate images, video clips and voice lines from a chat. Connect eroq and the thinking turns into the render without leaving the conversation: you describe it, Claude calls eroq, and the image comes back in the chat. This guide covers the setup (one click, no key), what each kind of request returns, what it costs, and the handful of things that trip people up. ## What you need - **Claude on the web or the desktop app**, on a plan that includes custom connectors — Anthropic's help center lists which ones do. - **An eroq account.** Signing up is free and comes with 50 credits, enough for a few pictures and a first test of every tool. You do not need an API key. That is the point of the one-click flow. ## Connect in one click Open [eroq's MCP page](/mcp) and press **Connect eroq to Claude** — the orange button. Claude opens its « Add custom connector » dialog with the name and the server URL already filled in (`https://eroq.ai/mcp`). Then: 1. Click **Add**, then **Connect**. 2. eroq opens in a new tab. Sign in if you are not already, read the consent screen — it names Claude and your workspace — and click **Allow**. 3. You land back in Claude with the connector active. Behind the scenes Claude ran a standard OAuth sign-in and received its own key, which you will find in your eroq dashboard under Developers → API keys as **Claude (connected)**. No password or key ever passes through the chat, and revoking that key is all it takes to cut Claude off. If you prefer to do it by hand: Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, name it eroq, URL `https://eroq.ai/mcp`, then Connect. ## Your first picture Start a chat, open the tools menu and make sure eroq is switched on. Then just ask: ```text Make a 16:9 image of a neon-lit alley in the rain, reflections on the cobblestones, one figure under a red umbrella, 35mm film look. ``` Claude calls `generate_image`, waits for the render and shows you the picture in the conversation, with a link to the file. The link is signed and lasts 30 minutes; the render itself stays in your [eroq library](/studio/library), so nothing is lost when the link expires. You can steer in plain words and Claude translates: - **Format** — "square", "vertical 9:16", "3:4 portrait". Five frame formats, same price for all. - **Model** — "on Krea 2", "use Eroq One with this reference photo". If you do not name one, Claude can ask eroq for the list with prices (`list_models`, free). - **A reference picture** — paste an image URL and say "keep this face" or "match this outfit". A rough idea is fine too. Say "tighten this into a real prompt first" and Claude will call `enhance_prompt`, which is free, before spending anything. ## Video from a chat Video works the same way, with one difference: renders take one to five minutes, and a chat tool cannot hold the line that long. So `generate_video` starts the clip, waits briefly, and if the clip is not ready it hands Claude a job id. Ask "is it done?" a minute later and Claude checks with `get_video_status` (free) — the link arrives when the render does. If a render fails, the credits come back on their own. ```text Render that alley as a 5-second vertical clip: slow push-in toward the umbrella, rain falling through the neon. ``` Name the engine when the look matters — Seedance, Kling, Veo and the others are all addressable by name, and your plan decides which ones are open. ## Voice lines "Read this line in a low, tired voice" calls `generate_speech`. Claude can list the voices first (`list_voices`), and if you have created [characters](/studio/characters) in eroq, a line can be spoken as one of them. ## What it costs A connector does not have its own price list — every tool bills the studio's credit prices: - An image on Krea 2: 10 credits. - A five-second Seedance 2.0 Mini clip: 45 credits; Motion One, eroq's own engine: 60 credits a clip. - Speech on Voice One: 3 credits per 100 characters. - `enhance_prompt`, the status checks and every list: free. Charges happen when the render starts and refund themselves if it fails. When the wallet is empty, eroq says so and Claude tells you; top up or pick a [plan](/pricing). ## Keys, reconnecting and disconnecting - **One app, one key.** Reconnecting Claude replaces its previous key rather than adding a new one. - **Keys count toward your plan's key limit.** A connected app holds one key slot; if you are at the limit, the consent screen says so — revoke an old key or upgrade. - **To disconnect,** remove the connector in Claude's settings and revoke **Claude (connected)** in Developers → API keys. Revoking alone cuts access immediately. ## When something goes wrong - **Claude says eroq needs to be connected again.** The key was revoked, or you reconnected from another place. Open the connector in Claude's settings and click Connect. - **A request is refused.** Two policies apply. Claude has its own usage policy about what it will ask for, and eroq's [acceptable-use policy](/legal/aup) decides what renders: adults only, fiction only, no real people without consent, never minors. - **The picture looks nothing like the brief.** Ask Claude to show you the prompt it sent. Most misses are a lost detail in translation, and one sentence fixes them. ## FAQ ### Do I need an API key to use eroq in Claude? No. The connector signs you in with your eroq account and Claude receives its own revocable key. Keys are only needed for scripts and clients that cannot run the sign-in. ### Does it work in the Claude desktop app? Yes — custom connectors live on your Claude account, so a connector added on the web shows up in the desktop app too. ### Can Claude generate video with eroq? Yes. Clips are asynchronous: Claude starts the render and checks back until the link is ready, usually within one to five minutes. Failed renders are refunded automatically. ### Is there a difference between this and Claude Code? Same server, different client.
