# AI jingle generator for brands: write it, sing it, try ten versions

> How to make a brand jingle with AI: a chorus with your name in it, style words for the sound, 30-second takes in several directions, and an instrumental bed for the ad.

A jingle is a chorus with your name in it. That is the whole craft, and it is why AI suits it: the hard part is choosing between directions, and trying a direction now costs a few credits instead of a studio session. This is the workflow in eroq's [music studio](/studio/music), from the first line to the bed under your ad.

## 1. Write the chorus first

Open Music and switch to **Custom**. In Lyrics, write a short chorus with the brand name and the one promise you want remembered, then repeat it:

```text
[Chorus]
Morning Bell, Morning Bell
Coffee on the corner, ringing well
Morning Bell, Morning Bell
Start it right at Morning Bell
```

Tips that make a jingle stick:

- **The name on the strong beat,** at the start of a line, ideally twice.
- **One promise.** "Ringing well", "open late", "fixed by five": the line people hum is the line they remember.
- **Spell it as it is said.** If the brand name is unusual, write it the way it sounds so it is sung right.
- **Short.** For a 30-second spot, four to six sung lines is plenty; the engine fits about one sung line every four or five seconds.

For a longer spot, add a `[Verse]` before the chorus and an `[Outro]` that sings the name one last time.

## 2. Describe the sound in Style

Style is how it sounds, never sung. A short comma list, language first:

- `English, bright female vocal, upbeat pop, 120 BPM, handclaps, ukulele`
- `English, close-harmony vocal group, 1960s radio jingle, brass stabs, swing`
- `English, warm male vocal, acoustic folk, finger-picked guitar, cosy`

Describe the sound rather than naming an artist: genre, era, voices and instruments are what Music One follows.

## 3. Render directions, not just takes

Set the length to 30 seconds and two takes, and Generate. Then change only the Style and render again. Three directions, two takes each, is a good first session:

| | Credits |
|---|---|
| One 30-second take | 3 |
| Three directions × two takes | 18 |
| Plus an instrumental bed of the winner | 21 in total |

That whole session is a fraction of a $10 pack, and no plan is required. Every take is saved to your Library as an MP3, with no download cap, so you can send all six to the client and let them pick.

If one word lands wrong, open the song under Your songs and press **Remix in Custom**: Music reopens with the same style, lyrics and length, you fix the word, and you render again.

## 4. Make the bed for the ad

Most ads need the jingle at the end and a bed under the voice-over before it. Render the winning direction again with **Instrumental** on: same Style, no vocals.

Then put it under the picture:

- Render the ad itself in the [video studio](/studio/video), or ask Clap, on the [studio home](/studio), to plan the whole ad with you.
- **Score a film**, on a song, starts a film on it in [Cinema](/studio/cinema), where you cut the scenes, add titles and export an MP4.
- Or lay the MP3s under your clips on the [Editor](/studio/editor)'s timeline.

## 5. Many clients? Use the API

Agencies doing jingles at volume can send the same Custom fields from code:

```bash
curl https://eroq.ai/v1/music/generations \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $EROQ_API_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{
    "style": "English, bright female vocal, upbeat pop, 120 BPM, handclaps, ukulele",
    "lyrics": "[Chorus]\nMorning Bell, Morning Bell\nCoffee on the corner, ringing well",
    "title": "Morning Bell",
    "seconds": 30,
    "n": 2
  }'
```

Each take is an async job you poll, or receive with a `music.generation.succeeded` webhook. Details in the [music API guide](/blog/ai-music-api-for-developers).

## What to check before it airs

- **Rights.** Read eroq's [terms of service](/legal/terms) for how you can use what you make.
- **Other people's marks.** Do not sing a competitor's name or a real person's name; the policy refuses real identifiable people without consent.
- **Pronunciation.** Listen to the name in every take before you send it to a client.

## FAQ

### Can AI write a jingle with my brand name in it?

Yes. Write the name in the lyrics in Custom mode, ideally in the chorus, and Music One sings it. In Simple mode you can also put the brand name in your sentence and let the songwriter write the words.

### How long should a jingle be?

A sung logo works in 30 seconds or less; render at 30 seconds, the shortest length, and trim it on the Editor's timeline. Radio-style spots can run to a minute.

### How much does an AI jingle cost on eroq?

3 credits per 30-second take. Three directions with two takes each are 18 credits.

### Can I get the jingle without vocals for the voice-over?

Yes. Render the same Style with Instrumental on and you get the bed with no vocals.

### Can the jingle sound like a famous band?

Not by name: Music One is steered by genre, era, voices and instruments, not by a band's name, so describe those instead.
