Ask is the bar at the top of the eroq studio. Type or say what you want — in your own words, in your own language — and the studio sets the right tool up: the engine, the length, the format, the camera move, your cast, the prompt. The page opens ready; the Generate click stays yours.

## What you can ask

### Sets up any tool

Video, image, voice, text, a whole film or an edit of your own clip — with the engine, length, format, camera move, look, takes, cast and voice you name. Whatever you leave unsaid stays as the tool already has it.

### Says what it does

Every action is announced in a grey line under the reply — “Setting up Video · Kling 3.0 · 10 s · 9:16 with your parameters…” — then the page opens. A question gets a button instead of a jump.

Describe a render and it comes back as thumbnails, searched by the words of its prompt and title. Characters, elements and cloned voices by name.

## How it works

1. **Say it** — Type or speak at the top of the studio home — or press ⌘K anywhere in the studio and pick “Ask eroq”.
2. **It sets up** — Tool, engine, length, format and prompt, announced in a grey line — then the page opens with everything filled in.
3. **You click Generate** — Nothing renders and nothing is spent on its own. Asking is free; credits go only to the render you start.

## What it does not do

- It never renders by itself — the Generate click is always yours, with the usual credit check.
- It finds your work by the words of its prompt and title; it does not look inside images or videos.
- eroq has no upscaling, lip-sync or inpainting, and Ask says so instead of pretending.
- Your chats are kept in this browser for 30 days, listed beside the chat; they are not saved to your account or synced across devices.
- Ask is for eroq only: it does not do maths, code, homework or general questions.
- Ask is part of the studio, not an API endpoint — developers call the generation endpoints directly, and assistants connect through the MCP server.

## FAQ

### What is eroq Ask?

Ask is the bar at the top of the eroq studio home. You type or say what you want, and it sets up the right tool — engine, length, format, camera move, cast, voice and prompt — then opens the page ready. It also finds your renders, takes you anywhere in the studio and answers questions about engines, prices and your balance.

### Does Ask cost credits?

No. Asking is free. Credits are spent only when you click Generate on the page Ask opened, at the price that page shows — exactly like a render you set up by hand.

### Does Ask generate on its own?

No. It prepares and opens the tool; the render starts only when you click Generate. When it only proposes — you asked a question, or named an engine your plan does not include — you get a button instead of an automatic jump.

### Can I pick the engine myself?

Yes — name it: “with Kling”, “on Veo 3.1”, “Seedance 2.5”. A family name picks one of its engines — Kling means Kling 3.0, Seedance means Seedance 2.0 Mini — and “Pro”, “Fast” or “Lite” pick those. Name nothing and the tool keeps the engine it is on. An engine your plan does not include opens with its Unlock button.

### Which languages does Ask understand?

Write or speak in your own language and Ask answers in it. Video and image prompts are written in English for the engines, which read English best; a voice line keeps the language you wrote it in.

### Can I talk to it instead of typing?

Yes. The mic in the bar uses your browser’s speech recognition (Chrome, Edge and Safari): when you stop talking, your words are sent. In browsers without speech recognition the mic is hidden.

### Can Ask find my old renders?

“Open the dragon clip” searches your creations by the words of their prompt and title and shows up to five matches — a single match opens by itself. If nothing matches, your library opens filtered on those words. It does not look inside the images or videos themselves.

### Is my conversation saved?

In this browser only. Your chats are listed newest first in a column beside the chat: open a tool, come back with the back button or the Ask row of the studio rail, and the thread is still there. New chat starts a fresh one and keeps the last in the list. Chats stay for 30 days, up to 30 of them, and you can delete one from its row. They are not saved to your account and not synced across devices.

### Is Ask available through the API?

No — Ask is part of the studio. The API exposes the tools themselves (images, video, speech, chat), and assistants such as Claude or ChatGPT connect through the eroq MCP server.
